Registering at WorldGaming.com is a simple 3-step process. You can register from anywhere on the homepage. Just follow the steps of registration and make sure all your information is correct and accurate.

Does it cost money to register and use the site?

No, registration is 100% free and does not require any payment or deposit. Gamers are invited to participate in the WorldGaming.com community, make friends or foes and build their gaming networks while enhancing their skills until they think they're ready to step up and compete for real money.

If a user is interested in participating in gaming tournaments or challenges for cash and prizes, they must be over the age of 18. You must also have a valid email address to accompany a valid Gamertag or PSN ID.

After each Tournament game played on WorldGaming.com you will receive a message in your WorldGaming.com message center asking you to rate your opponent on the overall gaming experience. Our reputation system is based on a 5 Globe basis, 5 Globes being a great overall gaming experience and 1 Globe being the worst overall gaming experience. We also have a section for users to leave written comments to go along with the selection of Globes. We encourage users to leave comments after Tournament games although it is not required. The goal of WorldGaming.com is to have community of fair play players, and to rid the community of problematic gamers.

What are the required or recommended web browsers and systems?

To improve your experience with our site, our recommended 'ideal' browsers are: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and higher, Firefox 2 and higher, or Google Chrome. Support for Internet Explorer 6 and Safari is coming soon. Note that Firefox is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX and is the RECOMMENDED choice of WorldGaming.

How do I join a WorldGaming multi-player tournament?

Click "Tournaments" in the top navigation bar to visit the tournaments page. From here you can browse all the currently offered WorldGaming tournaments. Click on the tournament details button to view an individual tournament page. From here you can easily enter the tournament by clicking the "Enter Tournaments" button.

How much does it cost to enter a tournament and how much money can players win?

Worldgaming.com offers a variety of tournaments at different entry fee ranges to match its users needs. Tournaments entry fees range from FREE ($0) to a maximum of $1,000. In order to participate in the site's Free Entry tournaments, users must have money deposited to their account on the site; the minimum deposit is $10.

Winnings also vary depending on what type of tournament the player competes in, as the company offers a wide variety of tournament pay out structures. For more information on the different types of pay out structures visit the tournaments page.

What types of tournaments does WorldGaming.com offer and how do prizes work?

WorldGaming.com users can compete in tournaments in a variety of formats. These include:

  • Head-to-Head and Direct Challenges
    Players compete against other players of their choosing in a 2-player competition. The challenging player can choose the game, entry fee and how long the challenge stays open for. The winner takes the prize.
  • Multiplayer Tournaments
    WorldGaming offers major multi-tier tournaments for all games available on the site. All users can view these tournaments in the sponsored tournaments section and register to play. These tournaments range in size from 4 to 64 players and offer Huge Jackpots and Payouts!

    These tournaments are large single-elimination tournaments. A fee is required to enter and play the first round, but all subsequent rounds are free. Each round is a two-player competition in which the winner advances to the next round, and the loser is eliminated from the tournament. Prizes will be generally awarded after every round with the prizes growing larger with each round. These tournaments will go on until one player survives a set number of rounds and all other players have been eliminated.

How do I find an opponent on WorldGaming.com?

You can find an opponent on WorldGaming.com by simply entering any Game Lobby. You will be able to see if they are online of offline and what their WorldGaming.com reputation is and how much they usually game for. You can challenge your opponent right from the Games Lobby or you can view their Profile by clicking on the users name right from the Games Lobby.

How do I set up a Head 2 Head Tournament/Direct Challenge?

There are two ways in which you are able to set up a H2H Tournament. The first is an Open Match. This is done from the Games Lobby section of the site. Go to the Games Lobby and select the game you want to play from your Games List. Once you are in that specific Games Lobby you will see the option to create a Fast Play Match, which is an Open Match. Click Fast Play and this will bring up the Challenge Card, just fill out the details of the Challenge Cards accept the terms and conditions and that Tournament will now become part of the Open Match section.

The second way in which you are able to set up a H2H Tournament is to choose a player from the either the Players online Tab or the All Players Tab and click the Challenge Button next to their name. Doing this will open up a Challenge Card, fill out the details of the Challenge Card, accept the terms and conditions and your opponent will receive a message notifying them that you have sent them a Direct Challenge. Check your profile page and your message center to see when your opponent has accepted your challenge.

I entered into a multi player tournament, how do I find out when my scheduled game time is?

On your user homepage you will see a list of all your upcoming scheduled Tournaments. This includes the date and time along with who your opponent is and their PSN ID or Gamertag. You will also receive a confirmation email as a result of signing up for a Multi Player Tournament with all important Tournament details.

What will happen if my opponent does not show up to the scheduled multi player tournament match?

If your opponent does not show up to a scheduled Tournament match then you will automatically receive a bye into the next round of the Tournament.

What happens if there is a disconnection during my Tournament game?

Due to the level of statistical information that WorldGaming.com receives from games themselves, WorldGaming.com will be able to see if the game was disconnected maliciously or if it was a problem with the game servers. WorldGaming.com's Customer Service team will handle each case on a case by case basis. Once a decision has been made by the Customer Service team, they will report back to all users involved in the game with a resolution.

How does WorldGaming.com know who won the games?

WorldGaming.com has created a proprietary automated verification system that obtains the stats of all games played by its users. World Gaming retrieves these stats directly from the gaming servers, thus leaving no doubt in the outcome of the game. Stats don't lie and all verification of winners and losers are done through these game stats.

What if someone gets disconnected during a game?

World Gaming understands that online game play is not perfect and disconnections do occur during games. World Gaming treats disconnections as a customer service issue. World Gaming has a fully staffed customer support team that is very knowledgeable in all the games and tournaments offered on the site. This support team helps resolve all issues related to disconnections reviewing all relevant game data and making informed decisions. Users involved in a game that experiences a disconnection should report the event to customer service immediately.

How long do I have to play my scheduled tournament game?

Each Tournament has different parameters in which the games are to be played. Please be sure to read the rules and terms and conditions very carefully.

What is the best way to contact my opponent before our game?

There are a number of ways in which you can contact your opponent. The first is through the WorldGaming.com message center. The second is via message through the console, either the PS3 or the Xbox 360. And the third is via any form of instant messaging that your opponent has made available.

How does WorldGaming.com combat cheating?

The WorldGaming.com Security Team constantly monitors games and immediately investigates all reports of cheating. We take reports of cheating very seriously and cheaters are. Additionally, WorldGaming.com enlists users to keep the community honest, allowing them to give positive or negative feedback after each game. The feedback they give will effect that player's WorldGaming.com reputation and be viewable in every users profile, helping users make decisions about who they choose to play.

How do I deposit money into my WorldGaming.com account?

Deposits can be made through WorldGaming.com during the registration process. If you decide to skip this step during the registration process simply click the Cashier link and follow the instructions on how to deposit funds into your WorldGaming.com account.

What payment methods are available?

Users may deposit funds into their account via Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), Debit card (Star, Interact), or through PayPal.

I deposited money into my account and it has not yet showed up in my WorldGaming.com account?

For all transactions types please allow up to 24 hours from the time of the deposit for the monies to hit your account. If more than 24 hours have gone by and the funds are still not in your account please contact customer service to help you resolve the issue.

What is the withdrawal process for players to get paid out?

Users may request a withdrawal of funds from their available account balance at any time. Processing of requested funds back to a credit card or PayPal account may take up to 5 - 10 business days.

From the Cashier section you will see the option to withdraw monies from your account. Make sure to select the correct method in which you wish to have your payment sent to you. Please go to the Cashier page to see any fees associated with withdrawing funds from your account.

Be advised that there is a minimum withdrawal amount of $10 USD. If your account balance is less than $10 USD, you will be allowed to withdraw your remaining funds.

Are there any ways to have my check sent to me faster?

Currently WorldGaming.com uses Express Mail to send out all hard copy checks. WorldGaming.com will be adding Next Day and 2 Day shipping at extra costs.

How does the WorldGaming.com Reputation system work?

Your World Gaming reputation shows other users of the site just what type or gamer you are. At the end of each game played at WorldGaming, users are given the opportunity to assess their opponent by awarding them globes, with 5 globes being a great opponent and 1 globe being the worst. Factors that figure into your WG Rep are: games played, disconnections, and globes given. All these factors are then calculated and displayed as a part of each users profile to help other gamers gauge their competition and help differentiate the good gamers from bad.
